Relationship Transformation
At Peace-Making, the joy of emotional gratification in your friendships comes through the practice of the skills we teach. This is what we offer with our Relationship Transformation services. The skills we teach you create an ability to share power and to make joint and mutual decisions. They create an interest in deep listening to the energy of another’s life, and the feelings and essential human needs seeking to be fulfilled.
The skills taught in both the Peace-Making Course and Group Mediation are a combination of Nonviolent Communication and Conscious Awareness.
Group Mediation
In Group Mediation, you can get help mediating your own divorce within the class (a low cost way to mediate), learn mediation, or work to become a Peace-Making mediator. Get more information about Group Mediation here.
The Peace-Making Course
The Peace-Making Course teaches a combination of Nonviolent Communication and Conscious Awareness skills. This becomes a language of connection that keeps both people safe. Like Aikido, a martial art form that disarms without injuring, Peace-Making dissolves conflict and creates connection and partnership.
The Peace-Making Course is for individuals and couples, people who want better relationships. Emotional gratification and connection with your children, friends, and spouses, comes through this practice. These skills create an ability to create a deep listening, to connect with the energy of both oneself and the other and to make mutual decisions to fulfill essential human needs.
The skills focus on three areas essential for relationship success:
- Pure Observation, listening deeply without assumption, judgment or opinion;
- Emotional Insight into the energy alive in each of you and the Essential human needs seeking to be fulfilled; and
- Sensitivity to and protection of Choice in selection from the richness of ways in which that fulfillment might occur through a joint strategy.
