Courses
At Peace-Making, we offer two kinds of courses: 1) Group Mediation, and 2) the Peace-Making Course. Please read below to find out more about each course offering.
Group Mediation
Group Mediation allows you to practice mediation on your own, or as a couple, in a setting where an actual mediation occurs. During each session, we will complete a mediation – either yours or someone elses. By participating in Group Mediation, you can get help mediating your own divorce within the class (a low cost way to mediate), learn mediation, or work to become a Peace-Making mediator.
You are welcome to participate in Group Mediation by yourself, or as a couple.
The Peace-Making Course
The Peace-Making Course teaches you the skills of Peace-Making. We have created the course to teach students how to parent, partner and resolve conflict for themselves. The Peace-Making Course teaches skills, and then practices them at each session until you’re confident in their usage. By learning to make peace, you can create a new relationship with your existing partner, with your children and with others. If you create a new relationship with your existing spouse, you can stay married in a deeply gratifying relationship, which is the most difficult path. Or you can divorce and build a new relationship as partners in an effective partnership co-parenting your children. You can teach your children how to build peace within themselves and with their friends.
Course Dates and Times
Group Mediation takes place each Thursday evening from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Peace-Making Course is taught each month beginning on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
New Peace-Making Course participants should plan on attending a free orientation which always begins on the Friday before the 2nd Saturday of each month from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Course Fees
The cost to attend both the Peace-Making Course and Group Mediation is equal to 2% of your monthly gross income.
